update!

So..I guess It's been MONTHS since I blogged. I have been going non-stop. I am working at Kings Landing now as Miss Perley. Kings Landing, for those of you who are not familiar, is a Historical Settlement. We live the lives of those living in the area in the 19th century. I am really enjoying it. Pay is not great but I really enjoy it. I have learned so many things. Cooking, quilting, weaving, sewing..lots of things you can use in modern times.

Since my last blog alot has happened. April 1st, my aunt passed away. It was a hard time for all of us. Then several weeks later our dear pastor friend Bro Piper passed away unexpectedly. May was youth convention..I had hoped to go to the Dominican on Next Steps this summer but unfortunately I was unable to save the money..I'm going to take practical nursing in the fall so i needed to work for the summer.

my life.. total kaos!

So my life is total Kaos. Im still working at the Irving/Gun Dealer. I work evenings there..and then just this week i started a paper route. what a mess!! They havent really told me anything..and im just really frustrated. I guess I'll keep it until I get something better. Im crossing my fingers.. Patti tolld me yesterday that V.A.S is hiring people to work at home. V.A.S is the call centre in Nackawic I worked at. I really did enjoy that job. So ..if I can get this job..I will be working at home..they will set my hours and all..I will just do everything from home! So I would enjoy that!!!

Christmas was swell! What kind of word is swell? .. is it good..or to get bigger?
Anyways ..im hating the paper route..and nobody gets ahold of me..and UGH!!

Anyways.. Im hoping to go to the Dominican this summer..on Next Steps..I went this summer in Ghana..and I loved it so much !! Every day I think of things I experienced...I loved that plae so much ! Anyways .. Im ranting today ..I just needed to get some things out!

So, in about 2 hours Im leaving to pick up Uncle Randy at the airport! today starts my busy weekend. I slept in today until 9..then got up and studied..went to write a Biology test and then stopped to see both parents at their work places. Now im sitting home getting ready to take a shower. Lately I've been having alot of flashbacks of random things. Everyday I remember something random about Ghana. Maybe a smell, or a place i drove by, or a person i met. I saw pictures of another persons trip to Ghana and some of the pictures were of places that i had been. Yesterday I was in Calais Maine and saw Haribo gummy bears...i was soo excited! Amberle and I always bought them in Ghana. They were soo good! I wrote and told her about them and she said that she too found them !!! haha
Today at school, I remembered random little things of when I was a student there. I've been blessed ...I have had a wonderful life so far.
Anyways I cant believer that Christmas is in 4 days! ..My UPS package is late and it has papa's christmas present in it. I called and they said it would be here today !!! so im glad about that..I will have to go pick that up today or tomorrow..which ever! Im excited about it though!!!

Anyways i need to go clean the car and take a shower..!!!

It's the most wondeful time of the Year

So..Im a real big Christmas person. I ♥ Christmas.. and well..Christmas is here.. in just 6 days it will be Christmas day. Now i must admit..i do like getting gifts.. but for me.. it wouldnt matter if i didnt get gifts..Its just an amazing time of year! This week really starts it all for our family. On Friday, I have to pick my uncle Randy up from the airport. I love when he comes home.. he only comes once a year but I always enjoy spending time with him. I can remember when Trish and i were younger we would sleep in the living room the night he was supposed to come home. He stays ar Papa's while he is here..so he is just across the road. When Grams car would pull in to drop him off at Papa's Trish and I would be up and across the road to see him. Its still that way really..and then first thing in the morning we go over to see him at Papas. Wendy will also be coming home from Quebec for Christmas as well. She didnt come home last year so it will be a year and a half since we saw her. Christmas is such a family time with our family.
Christmas Eve starts it all. The whole town goes to the Christmas Tree at the Fire Station. Everyone from McAdam..comes home to McAdam for Christmas..so they all "reunite" at the Fire Station Christmas Eve..After the Firestation we used to go to my Aunt Debbie's but this year we will be going to Sherry's to see Luka open his presents. He's almost two so this christmas should be real fun with him. After Sherry's we will go to Gram's ..we usually watch a Christmas show on TV and then we come down to papa's .. We usually give our gifts to Papa and then stay a while to talk. After Papa's we come to the house and have to wait til Midnight so we can open our presents. In the morning 8am to be exact..we go to Grams. Almost Everyone is there.. This year will be..Gram, Mom, Dad, Trish, and I, Randy, Wendy and her son Zack, Sherry and Joey, Josh, Starla, Joey and Luka, Tommy and Linda.. We all go and open presents from Gram there. After Grams, we come back down to Papa's for a bit..and then go back to Grams for Christmas Dinner. Once Dinner is cleaned up, everyone goes home to nap and then comes to our house in the evening. We have alot of fun at Christmas. as Sherry, Trish and i would sing..We love to laugh..ha ha ha ha ! Long and Loud and Clear...

So Im pretty excited about it all really. I have just a few things to pick up to go with a few Gifts and then Ill be ready. Saturday is our Youth Christmas party..I have Tyler Thompson's name for our gift swap. We will definately have a good time.. the kids are hilarious.

Well Im in the middle of a movie..and am not really paying attention..so i should stop this blog haha .. until next time...Kristi

My First Blog!!

SO..Im really not a Blogger but I thought I would try it out. My life is quite boring right now..but at the same time OH SO BUSY! Im working, going to school, youth pastoring, and with all that and Christmas im busy all the time! Im excited for Christmas. My Family is very big on christmas..everyone comes home and we spend alot of time together during the few days that everyone is here.
On the Bright Side..I have only about 3 or 4 weeks left in my Biology course and then Ill be already for the LPN course. I am terribly excited that I have been accepted to the Woodstock Campus but am hoping to get into the Fredericton Campus. Ive applied to bother so im crossing my fingers. So at the end of August Ill be off to school.
Saturday is the Youth Shopping trip. We are leavin at 6:30 am and going to market and then the malls. It should be interesting to say the least. I love market..you can get the most random things there.. i think it is just wonderful.
I realized this week that since I graduated from Bible School Ive Had ALOT of friends get married...the list ?

I must say that I am glad all of these weddings are done with.. Out of all ten weddings I have to admit that Donnie and Natalie's was the most beautiful. I just enjoyed the Christmasy theme..that was really nice.. next to that would have to be Ben and Vicky..theres was amazingly beautiful..really Theirs and The Johnston wedding would have to be a tie now that I think of it.. they were just BEAUTIFUL.

Anyways.. I love Christmas music(don and nat had some at their wedding) and on my Kenny Rogers christmas cd it has this song...it is an ALL TIME FAVORITE of mine.. since the days of SOUND OF MUSIC!
